Healing - Out of Nowhere and Now Here

I am consciously mindful in my practice of addressing an issue I want to heal for myself.

First, I reflect on what message(s) the challenge may have for me, asking what is most useful for me to know. Then, I allow space for insight to arise. When I sense it is time to address the issue in a formal way, I check in with my guidance as to whether there is anything else to be aware of. Once I have clarity, I ask my guidance to clear the issue, its pattern and everything related to it.

Last week a friend asked me about something I mentioned a year ago. As we spoke, I realized the last time it bothered me was in the summer of 2021.

I have no idea when it healed. After the conversation, I thought momentarily about trying to figure it out though another part of me, to which I listened, chose to let it be.

I may never know what precipitated the shift and am at peace with that. In this moment, I am reminded that healing is deeply mysterious, sometimes we catch glimpses of its unfolding, other times not.
